Our Residential Alzheimer's and Dementia Care program has been on-going for the past 12 years, and has met with many successes. Residents relocate into our homes either from their own homes or from other bigger Assisted Living facilities. Our Caregivers specialize in the care of senior residents with dementia and residents are encouraged to participate in exercise, gardening, music, art and dancing. Surroundings are designed to be like home,
with safe wandering paths for residents. We decorate residents' rooms with their
own personal items and belonging, like pictures and etc. Decor is designed
to be homelike and comfortable. Scents and sounds are soothing and calming.
Hydration and nutrition programs encourage proper fluid intake and diet. There
are safe outdoor activity areas. Alzheimer's Care in our Assisted Living Homes, generally costs less than traditional long-term care. No long-term lease or endowment is required. One monthly fee covers just about everything. They include all assisted living services and amenities while providing individualized, personal care with specialized activities in beautiful homes overlooking the ocean. |
